Big 12 Conference Tournament Odds: Can anyone knock off Arizona?

The NCAA Tournament is just around the corner, but first we have the conference tournaments to look forward to as the battle to qualify for the tournament heats up.

The Big 12 will get plenty of at-large bids as teams like Arizona, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, and Texas Tech have done plenty to be selected in the March Madness Field of 68.

Of course, these conference tournaments opens the door for a bubble team to enter themselves into the NCAA Tournament if they win outright.

Let's take a look at the odds for the Big 12 Conference Tournament where Arizona is favored on bet365:

The No. 2 ranked Arizona Wildcats (+105) won the Big 12 regular season after going 29-2 and come into the tournament on fire. They closed the season with wins over Houston, BYU, Kansas, and Iowa State - a couple of teams they will most likely have to face in the conference tournament.

Freshman standout Kingston Flemings and the Houston Cougars (+200) follow close behind Arizona. Houston went 26-5 in the regular season and tend to play their best ball around tourney time.

Iowa State (+750) and Kansas (+800) are the last two teams with odds shorter than +1000.

The Cyclones ended the year going 4-4 in their last eight games which brought their record to 25-6, but Joshua Jefferson is a Player of the Year candidate, and Milan Momcilovic is one of the best shooters in college basketball.

The main storyline of this season for the Jayhawks has been the inconsistent playing time of presumed No. 1 overall pick Darryn Peterson. If he's full-go in the postseason tournaments, Kansas can beat anybody.

Texas Tech (+1600) would've had much shorter odds if star forward Jacob Toppin didn't suffer a torn ACL late in the season against Arizona State, but the Red Raiders still have plenty of talent on the team including point guard Christian Anderson.

Anderson, who averages 19.2 points, 7.8 assists, and shoots 42.7% from three will have to carry Texas Tech to a Big 12 conference tournament title.

Cincinnati (+6000) had a nice close to their season before losing to TCU, and they're on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament. They'll need to win a couple games in the Big 12 tournament to uplift their resume prior to Selection Sunday.

BYU (+7000) is also dealing with a season-ending injury to one of their stars - Richie Saunders. AJ Dybantsa headlines this Cougars team that can still be dangerous in win-or-go-home type of games.

TCU is also +7000 after they finished in sixth in the Big 12 during the regular season. They beat Iowa State, Texas Tech, and Cincinnati towards the end of the season.

It would take a miracle for any of the rest of the teams to win it: West Virginia (+20000), UCF (+25000), Colorado (+30000), Arizona State (+40000), Baylor, (+40000), Kansas State (+50000), Oklahoma State (+50000), Utah (+50000).
