Two Canadian users were awarded $62,500 each - splitting the $125,000 winner's prize - for coming first in the bet365 Bracket Challenge.
In total, bet365 paid out $250,000 across approximately 5,000 users following UConn's title-winning triumph over Purdue on Monday, April 8.
The Huskies became the first reigning champion to successfully defend its title since the Florida went back-to-back in 2006-07.
With UConn's win, the two competition winners finished with 1640 points atop a leaderboard that featured nearly 125,000 entries. Second place took home $10,000, while the third place finished with $5,000. The separation between the top seven positions was only 40 points.
