Two teams ranked in the preseason AP Poll for Men's College Basketball - the No. 8 Baylor Bears and No. 16 Arkansas Razorbacks - face off over the first weekend of the 2024/25 season.
Baylor played arguably the toughest opening game of any ranked team, as they visited the No. 6 Gonzaga Bulldogs and lost 101-63. After the Arkansas game, their schedule gets easier for the rest of the month until a game against defending champion No. 3 UConn in early December.
The Razorbacks, in their first season under head coach John Calipari, had an easier time as they beat Lipscomb 76-60. This is their first game against a team ranked in the preseason poll, and they won't play another such game until January.
Baylor vs. Arkansas will be broadcast on ESPNU, which can be viewed through cable TV or streamed with live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV or FuboTV.
Baylor vs. Arkansas is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM ET/6:30 PM CT on Saturday, November 9 with the game taking place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
