Both the Lunar Owls and Rose have gone 3-1 over the past two weeks. The Rose gave the Lunar Owls their only loss to date, a 72-63 victory headlined by Angel Reese’s dominant 22-point, 21-rebound performance. Chelsea Gray added 26 points and six rebounds and Brittney Sykes had 16 points.
Skylar Diggins-Smith had 22 points and five assists to pace the Lunar Owls in defeat. Allisha Gray had 19 points and Collier had a tame night for her with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite losing starters Kahleah Copper and Azura Stevens to leg injuries, the Rose have emerged in the league. After defeating the Lunar Owls, they knocked off the phantom, 71-59, behind Gray’s 26 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Reese added 23 points and 14 rebounds.
The team split its two games last week, defeating the Laces, 58-53, and falling to the Mist, 71-62. Gray had 26 points and seven assists and Reese added 16 points and 17 rebounds in the win over the Laces. Gray had a game-high 38 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the loss to the Mist.
Both teams have wins by nine points in this matchup. Collier continues to lead the league in scoring (26.3 ppg) and is second in rebounding with 11 boards per contest.

Chelsea Gray is leading the Rose and is fourth in the league with 21.3 points per game. Her 5.6 assists per game lead the league. Reese is averaging 13 points and a league best 12.3 rebounds per game.
The Rose have won six of their last seven games overall, a stretch that is only equaled by the Lunar Owls. However, without Copper and Stevens, that stretch is expected to come to an end tonight. Look for the Lunar Owls to extend their lead at the top of the standings and cover the 4.5-point spread as favorites.
