The opening game of the 2024 NFL season brings us a rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs face reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
This time around, the Chiefs host the Ravens after Mahomes and Co. had beaten Baltimore in its home stadium by a 17-10 score in last season's conference championship.
In the offseason, the Ravens lost star defensive players Patrick Queen and Geno Stone, but they added two-time All-Pro running back Derrick Henry to take the rushing burden off of Jackson.
The Chiefs were plagued by dropped passes yet still won the championship last season, so their main addition this offseason was the draft selection of speedy WR Xavier Worthy out of Texas.
The Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs game will be broadcast on NBC, which can be viewed through linear or cable TV and live TV streaming apps like YouTubeTV or FuboTV, and it will be streamed on Peacock.
Streaming will also be available on NFL+, which requires a paid subscription.
The Ravens vs. Chiefs game is scheduled to start at 8:20 PM ET/7:20 PM CT/5:20 PM PT on Thursday, September 5 with the game taking place at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
