Last year, in the 2024 edition, Jannik Sinner won Men's Singles, Aryna Sabalenka won Women's Singles, Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden won Men's Doubles, and Hsieh Su-wei and Elise Mertens won Women's Doubles.
Australian Open qualifiers take place from January 5-8, 2025. Men's and Women's Singles are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 14th.
There is a 16-hour time difference between Eastern Time and Australian Eastern Daylight Time. That means a 3 AM ET start time is 7 PM AEDT, and a 7 PM ET start time is 11 AM AEDT.
So, a daytime session at the Australian Open will be live at nighttime in the United States.
Daily Australian Open coverage in the early rounds will begin with the day session at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT, which is 11 AM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). Coverage will continue through the final matches of each day in the night sessions, which are scheduled to begin around 3 AM ET/12 AM PT, which is 7 PM AEDT.

The 2025 Australian Open will be broadcast on ESPN, which can be viewed through cable TV or streamed via live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV or FuboTV.

The Australian Open is hosted annually at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Matches take place at the main courts, which are Rod Laver Arena, John Cain Arena, and Margaret Court Arena, as well as on outer courts, which are numbered.
The 2025 Australian Open draw will be live on Wednesday, January 8th at 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT. That means, in Australia, the draw will be made on January 9th at 2:30 PM AEDT. The event is set to take place outside Margaret Court Arena.
