Ashton Jeanty and the Boise State Broncos will look to keep their spot in the College Football Playoff bracket with a win against San Jose State in Week 12.
Boise State is once again the 'last team in' the latest College Football Playoff bracket. Their status as the projected top-ranked Group of Five conference champion means the team is on course for an automatic bid.
But, they still have plenty to play for because Mountain West rivals Colorado State are also undefeated in conference play while UNLV has one loss. If the Broncos win out, they'll secure hosting duties for the championship game.
Jeanty has been the main factor behind Boise State's success, and even when he hasn't played as well as he usually does, the defense's focus on stopping him has opened things up for Broncos QB Maddux Madsen.
Boise State's last game, a win against Nevada on November 9, was the first time in almost a month that Jeanty rushed for over 200 yards. He reached 209 yards on 34 carries, and he scored three touchdowns.
Before we see whether Jeanty can build upon his Heisman Trophy case - he enters Week 12 as the +320 third-favorite - let's take a look at his odds for a game against a San Jose State defense that allows 151.2 rush yards per game.
