Keys, a 29-year-old American, upset World No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the semifinals. Earlier, she picked up a win over fellow American and No. 10 Danielle Collins in the round of 16, and in the quarterfinals, she beat No. 6 Elena Rybakina.
While Keys has played three sets in each of her last three matches, Sabalenka is coming off a straight-sets win over No. 11 Paula Badosa.
