Kansas entered the season ranked first in the AP Poll, but they finished the season outside the top 25 and sixth in the Big 12 standings. They lost to Arizona in the quarterfinals of their conference tournament.
Arkansas was ranked 16th in the preseason poll after Calipari brought in a handful of transfers from his former program, Kentucky, but the team hasn't been in the top 25 since late December. The Razorbacks lost to Ole Miss in the second round of the SEC Tournament.
