Angel Reese 2025 WNBA Regular Season Odds

Angel Reese's second WNBA season will begin shortly, and she set a strong foundation to her professional career with an impressive rookie season.

In 2024, the former LSU forward averaged 13.6 points, a WNBA-leading 13.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 39.1 percent overall and 73.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Reese finished second in Rookie of the Year voting, made the All-Rookie team, appeared in the All-Star game, and finished 12th in MVP voting. Ahead of the 2025 WNBA season, let's look at her futures odds.

To Win WNBA MVP (+7500)

Reese enters the season with the ninth-shortest odds to win the WNBA MVP Award. She received three out of a possible 670 points in 2024 MVP voting, which saw her finish 12th.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark enters the season with the shortest odds (+200) to win the award, followed by Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson (+225) and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier (+300).

To Win 2025 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year (+2000)

Angel Reese did not receive any consideration for Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, but she enters the 2025 campaign with the sixth-shortest odds to win it. Reese averaged 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks as a rookie.

With her as the nearest defender, opponents shot 61.2 percent against Reese in the restricted area and 39.1 percent in the paint but outside the restricted area. Both of those metrics are better than average, especially for a rookie, but were not quite good enough to put her among the WNBA's elite interior defenders.

Two-time DPOY A'ja Wilson (+145), reigning DPOY winner Napheesa Collier (+350), three-time All-Defensive honoree Ezi Magbegor (+850), 2020 steals leader Alyssa Thomas (+1200), and six-time All-Defensive honoree Breanna Stewart (+1600) are the players with DPOY odds shorter than Reese's.

To Win 2025 WNBA Most Improved Player (+2500)

If Reese develops into a Most Improved Player candidate, she could also find herself among the DPOY favorites because defensive playmaking, along with shooting efficiency, is the biggest area for improvement in her game.

Reese has the joint-12th-shortest odds to win the award, and some of the players ahead of her in the market are preseason favorite Rhyne Howard (+700), Reese's Sky teammate Kamilla Cardoso (+900), second-year Washington Mystics forward Aaliyah Edwards (+1000), and reigning Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark (+1800).

2025 WNBA Regular Season Scoring Leader (+7500)

Angel Reese has the joint-longest odds (+7500) to lead the WNBA in scoring out of the 22 players listed in the market.

Last year's scoring leader, A'ja Wilson, averaged 26.8 points per game, while Reese averaged 13.1. Most WNBA scoring leaders in previous years scored between 20 and 24 points, but either way, Reese will have to add at least seven points to her average in order to be in the hunt.

2025 WNBA Regular Season Rebounding Leader (-350)

Angel Reese led the WNBA in rebounding as a rookie, and she's the rather heavy favorite (-350) to do it again in 2025.

Reese is aggressive on both ends, as she averaged 5.1 offensive rebounds and 8.1 defensive rebounds in her rookie season. And, her 23.0 rebounding percentage in 2024 was the fourth-highest for a single season in WNBA history.

To Score 30+ Points in any Regular Season Game (+120), 35+ Points (+350), 40+ Points (+1600)

Angel Reese reached 20 points four times in her rookie season, and she set a career high of 27 points against the Seattle Storm in July 2024.

Reese shot 8/13 from the field, 2/2 from three, and 9/10 from the free-throw line in that game. It was her only game of the season with at least two made three-pointers, and she only attempted double-digit free throws in one other game that season.
