Amanda Serrano will look to exact revenge on Katie Taylor on November 15, a rematch of their April 2022 title fight that saw Taylor become the undisputed super-lightweight world champion.
The fight, which will be for Taylor’s WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO super-lightweight title belts, is on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson this Friday night.
Serrano is -115 to win the fight and become the women’s undisputed super-lightweight world champion.
Serrano, who turned 36 in October, has a 47-2-1 record in more than 15 years as a professional boxer. Her only losses have come against Taylor (via split decision) and against Frida Wallberg (via unanimous decision) back in April 2012.
The Carolina, Puerto Rico native has won five-straight fights since losing to Taylor in 2022, most recently against Stevie Morgan (by TKO) on July 20, 2024. That was the first of Serrano’s last eight fights not to go to a judges’ decision.
Friday’s bout will be contested in the lightweight division (up to 135 lbs), but Serrano has experience in more than a half dozen weight classes. “The Real Deal” has been the unified featherweight world champion since 2023 and won an incredible nine major world titles in seven different weight classes.
A win over Taylor on Friday would not only add a slew of belts to her already-crowded trophy cabinet, but it would cement the Puerto Rican as arguably the greatest women’s boxer of all time.
