Learner Tien, the World No. 67-ranked player and the ninth-highest-ranked American on the ATP tour, has a chance at a massive upset when he takes on World No. 3 Alexander Zverev in the first round at Roland Garros.
Tien won the only time these two players faced off, which was earlier this year on a hardcourt at Acapulco. Tien won in straight sets in the round of 16.
This time around, the match will take place on clay at the French Open and Zverev enters as the heavy favorite.
