Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees host the Cleveland Guardians in Game 1 of the ALCS on Monday night.
The Yankees reached the championship series by defeating the Kansas City Royals in four games, while the Guardians beat the Detroit Tigers in five games in their divisional series.
Judge, the likely American League MVP who led the MLB with 58 home runs and 144 RBI this season, has been far from his best this postseason so far. But the Yankees slugger has a new opponent and new series to look forward to in hopes of leaving his playoff struggles behind.
Judge batted .154 with two hits and five strikeouts in the ALDS vs. Kansas City, adding to his lackluster career postseason numbers that look wildly different to his regular season stats.
In 48 career postseason games, Judge is hitting .208 with a .762 OPS, along with 38 total hits, including 13 home runs, and 71 strikeouts.
To compare, Judge has a .288 batting average and 1.010 OPS in the regular season across his nine-year career.
Let’s take a look at Judge’s props and odds for tonight’s ALCS Game 1 vs. the Guardians.
