New York Yankees superstar centerfielder Aaron Judge has not replicated his regular season excellence in the 2024 postseason, but he hit a sacrifice fly to help his team take a 1-0 series lead in Game 1.
The series stays in the Bronx for Tuesday night's Game 2, and the Yankees will want to see their star steal the show as he did so often before October of this year.
In the ALDS against the Kansas City Royals, Judge posted an OPS of just .620, although he did reach base seven times in the four games played thanks to walking five times. But he only got around the bases to score twice in the series.
Judge has just one extra base hit this postseason, a double in the Game 4 decider against the Royals. He hit 95 extra base hits in the regular season in 158 games, which breaks down to one extra base hit every 1.6 games.
The 6-foot-7 outfielder set lofty standards for himself with such a dominant regular season, but given his postseason struggles throughout his career - he hasn't had an OPS above .850 in a single playoff series since 2019 - he'll want to pick things up as soon as possible.
With the Yankees up 1-0 in the ALCS but the pressure mounting on Judge, let's take a look at his odds, lines and player props for Tuesday night's Game 2.
