Aaron Donald is +132 to record a sack against the New York Giants on Monday night - his first game since the 2023 Wild Card loss against the Detroit Lions.
Donald was 32-years-old when he retired after his 10th NFL season, somewhat shocking the NFL community considering it looked like he could keep going. In his 10 years, the defensive tackle made All-Pro first team eight times, won Defensive Player of the Year three times, and led the NFL with 20.5 sacks in 2018.
He was retired for both of the 2024 and 2025 seasons, but rumors of his return started circulating after the Rams traded for All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett and All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie. With LA going all in for a Super Bowl this year, Donald decided to hop on board.
Donald still clearly looks like he's in game shape, and he decided to stay in LA and get his body right while the rest of the team traveled to Australia in Week 1 - his debut now comes at home on primetime.
With Myles Garrett sidelined due to an arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, Donald may very well be the No. 1 pass-rushing threat that the Giants need to look out for - along with Byron Young.
Donald's final regular season game came against the Giants in 2023 and he finished with two sacks and two tackles for loss, albeit against a much different looking o-line. In this year's matchup, he'll have to get through the interior trio of Jon Runyan Jr., John Michael Schmitz Jr., and Francis Mauigoa to get to the elusive Jaxson Dart.
