The NBA Summer League is in full swing in Las Vegas and there are seven games to look forward to on Friday in a packed second day.
The likes of Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets are all involved on Friday as they pay their first preseason games of the summer.
What | 2022 NBA Summer League, Day 2 |
Where | Thomas and Mack Center and Cox Pavilion, Paradise near Las Vegas |
When | 8th July 2022 |
How to watch | NBA TV |
The first game of the day sees Chicago take on Dallas Mavericks and the Bulls will be under the guidance of John Bryant for the summer, rather than regular head coach Billy Donovan.
Chicago's team includes 2022 first-round draft pick Dalen Terry and second-year center Marko Simonovic, as well as a few other interesting young prospects, including 19-year-old Australian forward Akoldah Gak of NBL outfit Illawarra Hawks.
On the Dallas roster, guard Alessandro Pajola could be worth keeping an eye on over the next few days. Pajola went undrafted in 2021 and has been playing professionally in his native Italy since 2015.
Chicago can be backed at +115 to win in the Money Line and Dallas are -135.
The Summer League takes place across two venues and the first game to take place at Cox Pavilion sees San Antonio Spurs take on Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Spurs, who will be coached by Mitch Johnson, will have three first-round draft picks on display as Jeremy Sochan, Malaki Branham, and Blake Wesley have been included in their 17-man roster, which is headlined by second-year guard Josh Primo.
The Cavs have Ochai Agbaji on their team after selecting the guard with the 14th overall pick in the draft.
Agbaji won the NCAA championship with Kansas and was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player (MOP), which is equivalent to the Finals MVP award in the NBA.
Cleveland also have international players Khalifa Diop and Luke Travers on their roster. Diop has played professionally in Spain and Travers has experience in the NBL in Australia.
The Spurs can be backed at -140 in the Money Line and Cleveland are +120.

The third and fourth games on Friday are both all-Eastern Conference affairs as Charlotte Hornets take on Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets come up against Milwaukee Bucks.
The Pacers have a strong roster for the summer league and second-year duo Chris Duarte and Isaiah Jackson have both been included.
Duarte enjoyed an excellent rookie season as he featured 55 times for Indiana, with 39 starts, while Jackson averaged 15.0 minutes across 36 appearances.
The Nets are a team in the midst of a crisis as Kevin Durant has requested a trade and Kyrie Irving may also be heading for the exit.
This youthful Brooklyn team can put those issues to one side over the next few days as they compete in the Summer League, with Adam Caporn taking over coaching duties.
Cam Thomas starred for the Nets at the Summer League last year and was named co-MVP after averaging 27.0 points-per-game.
Thomas went on to make 67 appearances for the Nets last season and also featured once in the playoffs, and he is back for another Summer League campaign with Brooklyn.
Golden State Warriors have already enjoyed some pre-season action as they hosted the California Classic and they take on New York Knicks in their Las Vegas Summer League opener.
The Dubs, who have included James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga in their Summer League roster, lost all three of their California Classic games and will be looking for an improved showing in Las Vegas.
Elsewhere, Northwest Division rivals Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves meet in the penultimate game and the final clash sees Pacific Division duo Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers meet.
Like the Dubs, the Lakers have already enjoyed some pre-season games as they were involved in the California Classic, winning two of their three games at the Chase Center.
