The Americans take a 3-2 lead over the Internationals heading into Day 2 of the 2026 Presidents Cup.
The opening day at Medinah Country Club featured competitive matches including Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns earning a late point to maintain the lead, while Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim were the standouts for the International Team defeating Chris Gotterup and Patrick Cantlay.
Friday features five foursomes (alternate shot) matches, announced on Thursday night by International Team captain Geoff Ogilvy and Team USA captain Brandt Snedeker. Ogilvy left out Ryo Hisatsune and Nico Echavarria, while Snedeker sat Jackson Koivun and Chris Gotterup.
