Joey Chestnut is the greatest competitive eater of all-time, and is officially back for the 2026 Nathan's Hot Dog eating Contest.
The Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is held annually on the 4th of July in the United States, where competitors race to consume as any hot dogs as they can in 10 minutes.
Joey Chestnut has 17 'Mustard Belt' victories in the Nathan's hot dog eating contests in the last 19 competitions, and holds the record for the most hot dogs eaten in 10 minutes with 76.
Chestnut has consumed over 12,00 hot dogs and buns in the competition since 2005, and holds over 50 world records across a variety of eating disciplines.
Chestnut's only non victories since 2007 came in 2015 and 2024, but the competitive eater has a chip on his shoulder leading up to the 2026 competition. Chestnut is an overwhelming favorite to win his 18th belt.
The 2026 Nathan's hot dog eating contest will be held on Saturday, July 4, at Nathan's flagship restaurant on Coney Island, New York.
The Men's competition will begin at 12:30 PM EST, and be broadcast live on ABC.
