The 2026 FedEx Cup Playoffs begin on Thursday, August 13, at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Tennessee.
The top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings will be in the field as they tee off at TPC Southwind in Memphis.
The top 50 players from this no-cut event advance to the second playoff event of the year. Not only is there a $20 million purse on the line, but the winner earns 750 FedEx Cup points, which can easily shake up the standings heading into next week's BMW Championship.
It comes as little surprise that world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler leads the field as the favorite. As the season is coming to a close, the stakes are rising, since the season's opening event in January 2026 was Scheffler's last Tour win.
The field is stacked with the best golfers in the world, all chasing the same goal: becoming the 2026 PGA Tour champion.
