The 2024 WNBA Champion New York Liberty (+190) are outright favorites entering the 2025 season.

Breanna Stewart, the team's leader in scoring, steals and blocks last season, re-signed on a one-year deal ahead of the new collective bargaining agreement set to be negotiated after this season. And, the Liberty held onto their other stars in Sabrina Ionescu, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton and 2024 Finals MVP Jonquel Jones.

The Las Vegas Aces (+350), who fell in the semifinals in 2024 after winning back-to-back titles the two seasons prior, are second-favorites after acquiring six-time All-Star guard Jewell Lloyd in exchange for Kelsey Plum.

Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and 2024 WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson are set to return for the Aces, and 2024 second-round pick Elizabeth Kitley should be back from an ACL injury. Half their roster has played in at least six WNBA seasons, and three Aces players have spent a decade in the league.

The Indiana Fever, led by Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, are third in the betting (+375) after going 20-20 in 2024. They brought in some key veteran depth this offseason with the additions of DeWanna Bonner, Brianna Turner, and Sophie Cunningham, and two-time All-Star Natasha Howard returned to the team after playing the last nine seasons elsewhere.

The Minnesota Lynx (+400) finished as runners-up to the Liberty in 2024, falling in overtime of Game 5 in the Finals, and they're fourth in the 2025 outright market. Lynx stars Napheesa Collier - the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year - and Courtney Williams seemed to reach new levels in the playoffs, and the team has veteran guards Kayla McBride and Karlie Samuelson, forward Alanna Smith, and second-year center Alissa Pili as the supporting cast.

Fifth in the betting are the Phoenix Mercury (+1400), who saw major changes to their roster this offseason. They acquired Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas, who will form a big three with Kahleah Copper. Aside from those three, only two players on the roster have at least five years of WNBA experience.

The Seattle Storm (+3300) are sixth in the odds and are the last team with odds shorter than 50/1. They added Lexie Brown, Alysha Clark, and Katie Lou Samuelson to their star duo of Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike, and they have some high-potential young talent in Dominique Malonga, Zia Cooke, and Li Yueru.

Further back in the odds are the Atlanta Dream (+5000), Los Angeles Sparks (+5000), Chicago Sky (+7000), Dallas Wings (+7500), Washington Mystics (+15000), Connecticut Sun (+20000), and Golden State Valkyries (+35000).
