The Philadelphia Eagles are favored to win the NFC East ahead of the 2024 NFL Season.
Philly was the last team to repeat as NFC East Champions, which they did over two decades ago in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
All four teams - the Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Washington Commanders - have won the division since 2010 and the Cowboys, Eagles and Commanders have all won it since 2020.
The Cowboys are the reigning divisional champions and were the only team to surpass 500 points in the 2023 season. They entered the 2024 offseason as co-favorites to win the division, tied with last year's second-placed Eagles, but the Birds have since overtaken Dallas in the market.

The Philadelphia Eagles started the 2023 season 10-1 but went 1-5 to end the season and went down with a whimper in the playoffs in a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They hired new, experienced coordinators - Kellen Moore on offense and Vic Fangio on defense - in the hopes of creating a better culture.
Philly had one of the best receiver corps in football last season and they provided QB Jalen Hurts with another weapon by signing former New York Giants Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley.
Center Jason Kelce retired and will be a big loss, but offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland is famous for developing talent.
Most of the Eagles' changes were on the defensive side. They arguably downgraded by sending Haason Reddick to the New York Jets for Bryce Huff, but the free agent signing of CJ Gardner-Johnson and the draft selections of Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean bring much-needed youth to the secondary.
The Dallas Cowboys were one of the least active teams in the offseason, with their major signings being linebacker Mychal Kendricks and running back Ezekiel Elliott, who returns to the team after a season in New England.
Dallas lost offensive linemen Tyron Smith and Tyler Biadasz in free agency, and the team replaced them with first-round draft pick Tyler Guyton and third-round pick Cooper Beebe.
The rookies will have to adjust quickly if Dallas wants to make good on their NFC East odds and make QB Dak Prescott, WR CeeDee Lamb and LB Micah Parsons happy in their contract seasons. Lamb has held out of training camp in an effort to secure a new deal - he wants to be the NFL's highest-paid WR.
The team also has a new defensive coordinator in Mike Zimmer after former DC Dan Quinn took the head coaching job with the division rival Commanders. With Parsons and a healthy Trevon Diggs anchoring the unit, he shouldn't experience too many growing pains.
Last season, the Washington Commanders got a new owner in Josh Harris, and he hired a new general manager and head coach during the offseason. The team is in a major transitional period and will look to forge its identity this season.
Harris and GM Adam Peters made their mark by hiring Dan Quinn as coach and drafting Heisman-winning QB Jayden Daniels to lead the franchise. The team hired quarterback whisperer Kliff Kingsbury as the offensive coordinator to bring the best out of Daniels.
On offense, Washington brought in experienced running back Austin Ekeler to take some pressure off of Daniels, and they brought in offensive linemen Tyler Biadasz and Michael Deiter to protect the QB.
The Commanders made defensive additions, bringing in experienced linebacker Bobby Wagner, edge rusher Dante Fowler Jr., safety Jeremy Reaves, and draft picks including defensive tackle Jer'Zhan Newton and cornerback Mike Sainristil. The young guys will have good mentors, but it remains to be seen if they can build chemistry quickly in Quinn's system.
The New York Giants are preparing for another season with Daniel Jones at quarterback, and this time around he'll have a potential superstar top target in first-round draft pick Malik Nabers. Not only will the addition of Nabers make the Giants more fun to watch, but he'll make Jones' job easier.
The Giants lost highly-regarded defensive coordinator Don 'Wink' Martindale in the offseason, replacing him with former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. They got a major difference-maker for him to work with in two-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Brian Burns, who was acquired in a trade with the Carolina Panthers.
This season's silver lining for the Giants is that they will have one of the youngest teams in the NFL. They also have their own first-round pick in the 2025 draft, meaning if they're not happy with how Jones performs, they should have a pick that can land them their QB of the future.
