2024 NBA Playoffs: Western Conference Winner Odds

The Minnesota Timberwolves are favored to win the Western Conference in the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

The T-Wolves beat the reigning champion Denver Nuggets in seven games to advance to the Conference Finals, where they will face the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavs beat the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder to advance to this point.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, who boast the league's best defense anchored by 2024 Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert, are favored to win the Western Conference.

Offensively, T-Wolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards is averaging 28.9 points in the playoffs, while Karl-Anthony Towns is putting up 18.8 points per game on 44 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

They've gotten support on both ends from Jaden McDaniels, Mike Conley, Nichiel Alexander-Walker and Sixth Man of the Year Naz Reid.

The Dallas Mavericks are led by guard duo Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, who form arguably the NBA's best backcourt partnership.

Doncic has been dealing with a leg injury during the playoffs, but he's averaging 27.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9.1 assists. Irving is posting 21.1 points and 5.4 assists on 44 percent three-point shooting.

They have been supported by the play of midseason acquisition PJ Washington, who is shooting 40.7 percent from three this postseason and scored 27 and 29 points in Games 2 and 3 against the Thunder. Plus, centers Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II are tough presences on both ends on the interior.
