The 2-seed Knicks took a 2-0 lead over the Sixers following a wild Game 2 finish Monday night, leaving the 7-seed with no room for error as the series heads to Philadelphia for Games 3 and 4.
Donte DiVincenzo nailed the go-ahead 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining to lift New York to a 104-101 Game 2 victory. The 76ers previously led by five with less than 30 seconds left.
Now, the series turns to the Wells Fargo Center, where the Sixers are 7-4 over the last two postseasons.
In NBA playoff history, 33 teams have come back from 2-0 down to win a series.
“We should be 2-0. We’re good. We’re going to win this series,” 76ers star center Joel Embiid said after the Game 2 loss.
