The 2024 NBA Finals are set: The fifth-seeded Dallas Mavericks won the Western Conference and will face the top-seeded Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics.
Boston dominated the regular season and playoffs with a three-point heavy attack led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown paired with a defensively strong backcourt. Plus, starting center Kristaps Porzingis is expected to return from a calf injury in Game 1.
The Mavs have been led by Luka Doncic, who has only gotten better as the playoffs have gone on despite appearing to have a sore knee in the first two rounds.
The Celtics, after going 64-18 in the regular season and having lost just two games in the playoffs so far, enter the series as favorites as they have been all postseason long.
