Bronny James has drawn headlines for years as the son of LeBron James, and he has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft while maintaining his college basketball eligibility.
James made his college basketball debut for the USC Trojans nine games after the beginning of the season due to suffering cardiac arrest the July before his freshman season.
As a result, the former four-star recruit started his college career on a minutes restriction but never grew into a starting role for an extended period of time. He started in six of the 25 games he played for USC, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
James' career high in minutes played was 30 in a loss to Arizona in January. He had three games with 10 points or more, scoring 15 against Oregon State, 10 against California, and 11 against Arizona.
Given his struggles in college basketball and the amount of development needed until he can crack an NBA rotation, the team that selects Bronny James will likely have the ulterior motive of wanting to sign LeBron James.
Here, we take a look at where the USC guard could begin his NBA career.
