WATCH: Arsenal v Man City preview

Steve Freeth, Kelly Somers and Sam Matterface share their thoughts ahead of Premier League leaders Arsenal hosting second-placed Manchester City in a blockbuster clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Wednesday night sees Premier League pace-setters Arsenal (15/8) welcome chasers Manchester City (11/8) to north London, with just three points separating the pair at the top of the table.

A win for Pep Guardiola over his former right-hand man Mikel Arteta would see the Citizens leapfrog Arsenal at the top of the Premier League on goal difference, although the Gunners have a game in hand over their title rivals.

The two sides are yet to face off on league duty so far this season, although City did overcome Arsenal 1-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup at the Etihad in January thanks to a Nathan Ake winner.

Having pulled out in front at the top of the Premier League, with just one defeat in their opening nineteen matches, Arteta's Arsenal have hit a slight blip in recent weeks after succumbing to a shock defeat at the hands of Sean Dyche's Everton at Goodison Park before being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Brentford.

Guardiola's charges will seek to pounce on any sign of fragility in the Arsenal ranks at the Emirates, after an imposing 3-1 victory over Aston Villa at the weekend saw City bounce back from a disappointing defeat at Tottenham last week.
