There is rarely a quiet week on the ATP and WTA tours and there is more action across North and South America this week on the hard and clay courts.
Carlos Alcaraz is set to be the main man in the draw for the ATP Acapulco starting on Monday, while the WTA Monterrey in Mexico also promises to be a fiercely contested tournament.
Here is a look at the week ahead in tennis with four key tournaments on the cards.

The next big dose of hard-court action on the ATP tour comes from Acapulco in Mexico with Spanish star Alcaraz set to lead a strong 32-player field.
The schedule of young Alcaraz has been relentless recently with the 19-year-old defeating Cameron Norrie in the final of the ATP Buenos Aires earlier in the month, while he also reached the final of the ATP Rio, again facing Norrie, on Sunday.
As a result, his involvement in Mexico could be uncertain, but even without Alcaraz, there is a strong set of players set to turn out in the ATP 500 event.

Casper Ruud has not been in action since crashing out in the second round of the Australian Open but is a capable player on hard courts, having reached the ATP World Tour Finals final in November, and he is the second seed in Acapulco.
ATP Buenos Aires and ATP Rio finalist Norrie is also in action as the fifth seed, having finished as runner-up at this event last year, and joins Ruud in the bottom half of the draw.
The top half, meanwhile, features a strong continent of Americans with Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe all involved. Paul opens against unseeded Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez and could be worth a look given how confidently he took to the hard courts in the Australian Open, defying the odds to make the semi-finals.

Off the back of the WTA Merida, there is more women's action in Mexico this week with the start of the WTA Monterrey on the hard courts at Club Sonoma.
Top seed Caroline Garcia is the only top-10 player involved in the event but there are still a handful of talented individuals to keep an eye on.
Croatian Donna Vekic, for example, has been handed a decent draw as third seed, starting against a qualifier and avoiding the likes of Garcia and Elise Mertens in her half of the draw.
Vekic has been going well on the hard surface of late, making it to the last eight of the Australian Open before also reaching the quarter-finals of the WTA Linz earlier this month.
Young Canadian Leylah Fernandez took the title in Monterrey in 2022 and it could pay to look beyond Garcia as a potential title contender.

Away from the hard courts, there is more action on clay in South America this week with the ATP Santiago set to start at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica.
It may not be the most eye-catching line-up of men's players heading to the event but there is once again a strong batch of Argentinians involved from Francisco Cerundolo to Sebastian Baez.
Baez was making good progress at the ATP Rio last week before slipping up in the quarter-finals against unseeded Chilean Nicolas Jarry in straight sets.
But having won the Cordoba Open earlier in the month and having finished runner-up in Santiago a year ago, he could be in with a shot as could Lorenzo Musetti, who lost to Jarry in his opener in Rio but is top seed for this event.

The other event on the WTA Tour this week takes place in Austin, Texas, where a 32-strong field featuring Magda Linette and Sloane Stephens will be battling it out for the title.
Linette takes the top seed with Chinese ace Zhang Shuai, who made the fourth round of the Australian Open last month, seeded second.
And Stephens, who will be looking for a reaction after being double-bagled by Camila Giorgi in the WTA Merida recently, she is not the only home talent involved with Americans Danielle Collins, Lauren Davis and Alycia Parks also in the top eight seeds for the event in Texas.
