Manchester City have the chance to close the gap on league leaders Arsenal back to five points when they play Leeds United at Elland Road.

City's campaign resumed following the World Cup with a 3-2 win against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup last Thursday, with Erling Haaland once again on the scoresheet.

The Norway international is 1/2 to Score At Anytime against Leeds and 2/1 to be First Goalscorer on Wednesday evening.

Haaland has 18 Premier League goals so far from just 13 appearances, while Leeds have already conceded 26 goals this term.

Leeds are hurtling towards the relegation zone after losing five of their last seven Premier League fixtures and are 7/2 To Be Relegated this season.

What: Hibernian v Celtic
Where: Easter Road, Edinburgh
When: 20:00, Wednesday 28th December

Odds: Hibernian 6/1, Draw 4/1, Celtic 2/5

Celtic have won their last 11 league matches since losing 2-0 at St Mirren in mid-September and are nine points ahead of Rangers heading into Wednesday’s fixtures.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have already thrashed Hibernian 6-1 on home soil this season and will be expecting another routine victory in this fixture.

The reigning champions cruised to a 4-1 victory against St Johnstone in their last match and are 16/1 to beat Hibs by the same scoreline on Wednesday.

Hibs ended a four-game losing streak in the Premiership with a 4-0 victory over Livingston on Christmas Eve and could give Celtic a harder game than expected.

A Celtic win and Both Teams to Score is available at 7/4.

Scottish Premiership: Steelmen to slip to another loss

What: Rangers v Motherwell
Where: Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow
When: 19:45, Wednesday 28th December
Odds: Rangers 2/9, Draw 11/2, Motherwell 12/1

Rangers are unbeaten in their last five matches but have struggled to assert their dominance in many of those games and need to beat Motherwell convincingly to keep the pressure on Celtic ahead of the Old Firm derby at Ibrox on 2nd January.

With just two wins in their last 13 Premiership encounters, the Steelmen are only five points ahead of rock-bottom Dundee United heading into this fixture.

Meanwhile, the horse racing action gets under way on Wednesday at Catterick before a seven-race meeting at Leopardstown begins at midday.

Further action comes later in the day from Leicester, Limerick and Newcastle.
