The midweek action continues across Europe's top leagues on Wednesday with matches from Serie A, LaLiga and the Bundesliga to take in.

The pick of the games in Spain will see Atletico Madrid travel to the Balearic Islands to take on Mallorca.

Sunday proved a difficult day for supporters of Inter Milan and Roma, as I Nerazzurri went down to a 2-0 defeat at Juventus in the Derby d'Italia, while Roma were edged out 1-0 by city rivals Lazio in the Derby della Capitale.
Inter's loss left them seventh in the standings, three points off the top four and a whopping 11 behind league leaders Napoli heading into the midweek fixtures, a worrying development that has led to questions regarding head coach Simone Inzaghi's future at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Inzaghi could certainly do with a win, but his side will face a stern test of their credentials when they host a Bologna outfit on Wednesday that have won four matches on the spin across all competitions.

Bologna are 9/1 to extend their winning run and ramp up the pressure on Inzaghi further, while a much-needed Inter victory is available at 2/7.
Roma sit a point and place above Inter in the standings, but they have now lost two of their last three in Serie A, a record they will be looking to set straight when they visit out-of-sorts Sassuolo, who have lost four of their last five.
Jose Mourinho's side are 11/10 to leave Mapei Stadium – Citta del Tricolore with all three points, with the draw 13/5 and a Sassuolo win 12/5.
There are three other matches scheduled in Serie A on Wednesday, with Champions League chasing Atalanta visiting struggling Lecce, Fiorentina hosting Salernitana in a mid-table battle and Torino welcoming second-bottom Sampdoria to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
What | Union Berlin v Augsburg |
Where | Stadion An der Alten Forsterei, Berlin |
When | 19:30, Wednesday 9th November |

Odds | Union Berlin 11/20, Draw 16/5, Augsburg 5/1 |
Union Berlin have been the surprise package in the Bundesliga so far this season, as Urs Fischer's side were leading the way in Germany until they were brought crashing back down to earth with a 5-0 loss at Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
All eyes will be on Die Eisernen to see if they can bounce back from that dismal defeat when they welcome Augsburg to the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei this midweek.
Union are unbeaten on home soil in the Bundesliga this season and they are 11/20 to return to winning ways against 5/1 Augsburg, who have failed to win any of their last five across all competitions, losing four of those games.
Another of Germany's surprise packages, SC Freiburg, will also be in action on Wednesday when they visit an in-form RB Leipzig side that have won 10 of their 14 matches since the appointment of Marco Rose as head coach.
Freiburg moved up to second in the standings following their 2-0 win over Cologne last time out, but they are 7/2 to claim the spoils at the Red Bull Arena, with Leipzig 8/11.
Fresh from their hammering of Union, Leverkusen will also be in action on Wednesday and Xabi Alonso's side are 6/5 to seal another three points away at Cologne.
Wednesday's remaining matches in the Bundesliga will see Eintracht Frankfurt host TSG Hoffenheim, while bottom of the table Schalke will be hoping to avoid an eighth-straight league defeat when they welcome mid-table Mainz to the Veltins-Arena.
What | Mallorca v Atletico Madrid |
Where | Visit Mallorca Stadium, Palma de Mallorca |
When | 20:30, Wednesday 9th November |
How to watch | LaLiga TV and bet365’s Sports Live Streaming |
Odds | Malllorca 14/5, Draw 21/10, Atletico Madrid 11/10 |
Atletico Madrid are on a poor run of form, as they have failed to win any of their last four matches across all competitions, a run that has seen them exit the Champions League and fall further off the pace in LaLiga's title battle.
Diego Simeone's side are still third in the domestic standings, but they could certainly do with recording an overdue victory when they visit Mallorca on Wednesday.
Mallorca sit 12th in the standings, but they have only won one of their six matches at Visit Mallorca Stadium this term, although they were 1-0 victors over Atleti in last season's corresponding fixture.
A repeat home victory for Mallorca can be backed at 14/5, while Atleti are 11/10 to return to winning ways.
That is one of four fixtures taking place in LaLiga on Wednesday, with struggling Sevilla also in action. Jorge Sampaoli's side remain at the wrong end of the table despite their draw with Real Betis in the Seville derby last time out.
Los Nervionenses will hope to build on that point when they host Real Sociedad this midweek and the home win can be backed at 8/5.
Elsewhere, Almeria will entertain Getafe, while Villarreal, still seeking their first win under Quique Setien, will head to Catalonia to take on Espanyol.
