It's a busy evening of League One action on Thursday with 10 games taking place, including leaders Plymouth at home to play-off contenders Wycombe Wanderers.
As the festive football feast continues, there are several eye-catching games in the third tier, with second-place Ipswich travelling to Portsmouth, while third-place Sheffield Wednesday are at home to Port Vale.
Two of the bottom four also go head-to-head when Forest Green Rovers entertain Burton Albion.
Plymouth top the League One table going into Thursday's fixtures but their lead is just two points from Ipswich. Argyle will therefore be eager for a victory over seventh-placed Wycombe, with only goal difference separating Gareth Ainsworth's men from Derby in the final play-off spot in sixth.
Plymouth come into the clash in good form, having won their last two matches, and the fact they have lost just one of their last 19 league games overall means Wycombe could be up against it at Home Park.
The Chairboys are unbeaten in four but have not won on the road since 12th November, losing 1-0 at Cheltenham and drawing 0-0 with Lincoln in their last two away assignments.
With the situation at the top tight - only four points separates the top three - Plymouth can ill-afford to slip-up. A home victory, on offer at 6/5 in the Full Time Result Market, therefore appeals.
Ipswich will want to maintain their own automatic promotion bid but they face a tricky trip to 11th-placed Pompey, who are five points off the top six but with games in hand on all of the teams above.
Portsmouth have not won in seven League One outings but that bad run is tempered somewhat by the fact they have tasted victories in the EFL Trophy and FA Cup during that period, and they will provide a test for Town, who bounced back from a 1-0 reverse against Wycombe before Christmas to comfortably beat Oxford United 3-0 on Boxing Day.
Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, host Port Vale with the Owls looking to extend their impressive unbeaten League One record to 12 games.
Darren Moore's side were 2-1 victors over Fleetwood on Boxing Day and should follow that up with another three points, available at in Full Time Result, against a Vale outfit who have been inconsistent in the third tier of late, mixing wins over Morecambe, Plymouth and Charlton with defeats against Oxford and Bristol Rovers.
The big game at the bottom and arguably the biggest clash of all in League One on Thursday sees Forest Green, who are 22nd, entertain Burton, who are a place below in second-bottom.
With just seven points separating 15th place and Albion down in 23rd, it remains tight in the relegation scrap and Burton will be buoyed by their Boxing Day 3-0 win at home over Lincoln ahead of this trip to The New Lawn.
An away win in Full Time Result will tempt plenty of punters at 8/5, while the odds reflect just how evenly-matched these two sides are as a Forest Green success is also 8/5 and the draw, which may be the wisest choice, is on offer at .
Elsewhere in League One, there's a tasty-looking North West derby between bottom-of-the-table Morecambe, who host Accrington, who are just one place above the drop-zone, while fourth-placed Barnsley will be aiming to keep up their recent good form with a home victory over Fleetwood Town, available at 7/10 in Full Time Result.
