This Week's Sport: Premier League and Six Nations action looms large

There's plenty of football, including FA Cup, Premier League and Club World Cup action, during another busy sporting week, while the Six Nations continues with a massive clash between Ireland and France in Dublin.

In golf, the Phoenix Open takes place, which you can follow on the bet365 Live Golf Tracker, while the women's T20 World Cup cricket tournament gets under way on Friday.

Blackburn Rovers, who are two places but just a point off the top six in the Championship, host local rivals Wigan Athletic on Monday.

The Latics, who sacked Kolo Toure after less than two months in charge last week, have appointed former winger Shaun Maloney as their new boss and he takes charge for the first time at Ewood Park, looking for points to help them get off the bottom of the table.

The week's horse racing starts with meetings at Carlisle, Fontwell and Wolverhampton with the action available to watch on Sports Live Streaming platform.

Tuesday 7th February

FA Cup: Four fourth-round replays

Tuesday sees the four remaining FA Cup fourth-round replays all take place, when Championship leaders Burnley host League One Ipswich Town, Fleetwood Town entertain Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby Town host Luton Town and Sheffield United welcome non-league Wrexham to Bramall Lane.

All four replays, which could go to extra-time and penalties if required, kick-off at 19:45.

Championship: Huge relegation scrap at Bloomfield Road

There is also one game in the Championship on Tuesday and it's a big game at the bottom as Blackpool, who are currently second-bottom, host Huddersfield Town, who are just a place and a point better off in the standings.

The Seasiders are 6/5 to win in Full Time Result, a draw is 9/4 and a Town victory is 5/2.

Wednesday 8th February

Premier League: Old rivals meet at Old Trafford

In what is the first of two Premier League meetings between Manchester United and Leeds United this week, the Red Devils host the Whites at Old Trafford on Wednesday in an 20:00 kick-off.

These two old rivals have not had much chance to play each other in recent years but since Leeds' return to the big time in 2020, the hosts have had the better of things.

Manchester United have won three of those four recent meetings, all by convincing scorelines (6-2, 5-1 and 4-2), while there has been one goalless draw.

Horse Racing: Three midweek meetings

The midweek horse racing action comes from Ludlow and Southwell (both jumps), while there's a flat evening meeting at Kempton Park over the all-weather track and you can catch the racing action on bet365's Sports Live Streaming platform.

Thursday 9th February

Golf: Phoenix Open starts

TPC Scottsdale is the venue for the Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour, which gets under way on Thursday.

South Africa hosts the Women's T20 World Cup and, on the first day of competition on Friday, the home nation entertain Sri Lanka in Cape Town, with the action set to start at 17:00.

Championship: West Midlands derby to liven up Friday night

Birmingham City, who stunned Swansea City at the weekend with two late goals to win 4-3, welcome neighbours West Brom to St Andrew's for Friday's Championship football action.

The Blues are down in 18th and in need of another win, while the Baggies are very much in the play-off picture at present as they are sixth and saw off another of their Midlands rivals, Coventry City, 1-0 at home on Saturday.

Ireland and 2023 World Cup hosts France were the two side most fancied to come out on top in the Six Nations this season and their clash in Dublin could go a long way to deciding who eventually claims the honours.

The other game on Saturday sees Scotland entertain Wales at 16:45 at Murrayfield.

Premier League: Another busy Saturday in the top-flight

There are seven Premier League matches taking place on Saturday, starting with the early kick-off at 12:30 between London rivals West Ham and Chelsea at The London Stadium.

At 15:00, leaders Arsenal host Brentford, hoping to respond to their shock setback at struggling Everton, while Crystal Palace entertain rivals Brighton.

It's also Fulham versus Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage, Leicester City take on Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power and two relegation-threatened sides, Southampton and Wolves, meet at St Mary's.

The 17:30 kick-off takes place at the Vitality Stadium, when Bournemouth entertain top-four hopefuls Newcastle United.

Football: Who will be crowned world champions?

The Club World Cup Final kicks-off at 19:00 in Rabat in Morocco with European champions Real Madrid expected to be in situ following their midweek semi-final clash against Egyptian side Al Ahly.

If Real do make it through safely, they will face either Brazilian champions Flamengo or Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal in the final.

Horse Racing: Newbury stages Denman Chase

With Cheltenham now beginning to edge into view, the Denman Chase at Newbury on Saturday may hold some vital clues ahead of this year's Prestbury Park Festival, and specifically the Gold Cup.

The highlight of Saturday's seven-strong card is due off at 14:25 and is set to feature some Gold Cup contenders for next month.

The Denman Chase serves as one of the principal trials for the Cheltenham Gold Cup and four horses have won both events in the same year previously; Kauto Star in 2007, Denman a year later, Coneygree in 2015 and Native River five years ago.

Cricket: England Women start T20 campaign

On a typically busy Saturday, England Women start their T20 World Cup campaign when they take on West Indies in Paarl in their first group game at 13:00.

England are 9/2 to win the Tournament Outright and the West Indies are available at 50/1 in the same market.

Sunday 12th February

England will be expected to get back to winning ways after their narrow defeat to Scotland in their Six Nations opener when they host Italy at Twickenham at 15:00 on Sunday.

Italy have never beaten the Red Rose, who triumphed 41-18 the last time the two nations met at Twickenham two years ago, while they ran out 33-0 victors in Rome 12 months ago.

Premier League: Second United-Leeds meeting

There are two Premier League games set to take place on Sunday with the second meeting between Leeds United and Manchester United in a matter of days kicking off at Elland Road at 14:00.

Manchester City are also in action on Sunday when they host Unai Emery's Aston Villa at 16:30.
