Playoff permutations will become clearer after Week 13's slate as the Dallas Cowboys host the Indianapolis Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs face the Cincinnati Bengals.
There's a first chance for the 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles to clinch a playoff berth, but there is an even bigger sub-plot to their home game against the 7-4 Tennessee Titans.
What: Tennessee Titans @ Philadelphia Eagles
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
When: 18:00, Sunday 4th December 2022
How to watch: Sky Sports NFL, NFL Game Pass
Odds: TEN Titans 9/5, PHI Eagles 5/11
It is the first time A.J. Brown will face his former team since the dramatic draft-day trade that brought him to Philadelphia.
The deal has worked out well for Brown, who is on pace to record the most receiving yards in a season since he entered the NFL, and the Eagles are not regretting the loss of two early draft picks or the four-year $100million contract they handed him.
The Titans' passing offense is currently ranked 29th in the league and 26th in scoring, so it's fair to say Brown has been missed in Memphis.
But Mike Vrabel's men appear to be well on their way to a third consecutive AFC South division title on the back of a stingy defense that has gone eight straight games without allowing an opponent to score more than 20 points.
Super Bowl LVII - All You Need To Know
They were unlucky to lose to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday when a penalty on a field goal attempt late in the fourth quarter cost them a chance for an equalizing final drive.
QB Ryan Tannehill looked sharp and RB Derrick Henry was a threat on the ground and in the air.
Although holders of the NFL's best record, the Eagles have not been convincing in the last three weeks when they lost to backup QB Taylor Heinicke and the Washington Commanders, edged out an inconsistent Indianapolis Colts by one point and held on for a win against Jordan Love and the banged-up Green Bay Packers after Aaron Rodgers exited.
The Titans are 8-3 against the spread in 2022 and the +4.5 point Spread, at 10/11, they have to cover here could also be within their compass.
What: Kansas City Chiefs @ Cincinnati Bengals
Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio
When: 21:25, Sunday 4th December 2022
How to watch: Sky Sports NFL, NFL Game Pass
Odds: KC Chiefs 20/27, CIN Bengals 23/20
The two teams that met in last year's AFC Championship game, held in Kansas City, go toe-to-toe at the Bengals' house in a matchup featuring a quarterback duel as good as any in the NFL this season.
Joe Burrow engineered Cincy's 27-24 overtime win at Arrowhead in January, but has not yet recaptured the levels he showed in the postseason while rival Patrick Mahomes has been authoring an MVP-caliber campaign for the 9-2 Chiefs.
Andy Reid's team could be the best in the league right now, but the Bengals raise their game when they meet the Chiefs.
Cincinnati's offense has averaged 293.3 net passing yards per game since Week 6 - good for third-most in the NFL - while being without leading wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who is back for this one, for much of that time.
It looks one for overs players on the points, with Over the 53.0 Total available at 10/11.
What: Indianapolis Colts @ Dallas Cowboys
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
When: 01:20, Monday 5th December 2022
How to watch: Sky Sports NFL, Sky Sports Main Event & Sports Live Streaming
Odds: IND Colts 17/4, DAL Cowboys 2/11
The red-hot 8-3 Cowboys host a 4-7-1 Colts team battling to stay in the AFC playoff race in Sunday's late game.
Dallas should enjoy several mismatches here, including the big one of their dominant pass rush against the Colts' offensive line.
That could mean Matt Ryan is forced to throw it away or eat it too often to get much going for Indy's offense and if in a league where the pass now sets up the run, not the other way around, that could leave Jonathan Taylor looking like spare part for most of this.
Additionally, Dallas will be well rested while the Colts are playing on the road after a short week. There's a good chance of a blowout win for the well-favored Cowboys, who can cover the -10.5 point Spread at 10/11.
