Along with the Premier League, the majority of Europe's top leagues are preparing for the upcoming international break, the first since World Cup in December.

There are some cracking matches on the cards as teams try to improve their positions in their respective leagues, with Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich hoping to maintain their lead at the top of the table when they face Bayer Leverkusen.

Reims will look to continue their fine run when they host Marseille, while Inter Milan and Juventus will collide at the San Siro.

With the international break looming, Bayern will look to pick up another victory when they travel to the BayArena to face Leverkusen on Sunday.

Julian Nagelsmann's side have a two-point cushion as it stands over second-placed Borussia Dortmund, and they come into the game on the back of a 5-3 victory over Augsburg.

Leverkusen will be no pushovers, though, with Xabi Alonso's team unbeaten in six games in all competitions, and confidence will be high after they progressed into the quarter-finals of the Europa League, where they will face Union Saint-Gilloise.

After three successive defeats at home, Leverkusen have bounced back and scored six goals in ties against Hertha Berlin and Ferencvaros, but Sunday's task will be much harder.

Leverkusen's injuries are likely to be their downfall, though, with Charles Aranguiz and Andrey Lunev ruled out, while Patrik Schick, Karim Bellarabi and Nadiem Amiri are serious doubts after missing the clash with Ferencvaros.

Sadio Mane's return from injury is timely for the Bavarians, and the signs are that Bayern will pick up another three points.

Bayern won the first meeting between the two sides 4-0, while a 3-0 scoreline this time around is 12/1.

Reims will look to extend their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to 20 matches when they play host to Marseille on Sunday night.

Will Still's side are still in the hunt for European football thanks to their incredible run of form, which has seen them lose only one game since the start of the year.

Still's team has been built on a rock-solid defence, with their last three outings all ending in victories to nil.

They have not conceded in six matches in Ligue 1, while they have only let in three goals during their previous 10 in the league.

Carlo Ancelotti's side need to win to have any chance of retaining their title, as they are now nine points behind Barcelona.

Los Blancos will take confidence from the fact they won the first meeting between the two teams 3-1 in October, but they have since lost to Xavi's side in the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey.

Barca have won their last three games 1-0, the same scoreline that Real beat Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Xavi's side will be well rested after not having a match in midweek, and they should take advantage on home soil.
