NBA - US Sports: Smart set to feature in Game 3

Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart is expected to return on Saturday for Game 3 against the Bucks in Milwaukee.

The series is tied at 1-1 ahead of the first meeting at the Fiserv Forum. Boston can be backed at 11/10 to win Game 3 in the Money Line and Milwaukee are 10/13, with all the action on our Sports Live Streaming service.

Celtics win without Smart

Smart played in the first game but missed the second due to a right quad injury. The Celtics still managed to win in his absence, claiming a 109-86 victory thanks to some big performances from Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum as they combined for 59 points.

Smart said on Thursday there is a "strong likelihood" he would be available for Saturday's game.

After taking part in practice, the Celtics upgraded his status to probable on Friday, with coach Ime Udoka expecting him to feature.

"[Smart] Went through shootaround today [Friday], walked through, got some extra work in, and he will be listed as probable," said Udoka, via ESPN.

Middleton out

Smart is the Celtics' only injury concern going into Game 3 and they know they will probably need to win at least one of the next two games in Milwaukee if they are to have a realistic chance of reaching the Eastern Conference finals.

The Bucks will be without forward Khris Middleton for at least the next two games as he continues to recover from a knee injury he sustained in Game 2 of the first round series against Chicago Bulls but reserve guard George Hill could return.
