The Derby della Mole has more riding on it than usual with Allegri under intense scrutiny and Torino would love to pour more pressure on him.
Torino versus Juventus is the big game in Europe on Saturday when there's also a crunch clash between Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga and a showdown between Bundesliga backmarkers Stuttgart and Mainz.
What | Torino v Juventus, Serie A |
Where | Stadio Olimpico, Turin |
When | 17:00, Saturday 15th October, 2022 |

Odds | Torino 21/10, Juventus 29/20, Draw 11/5 |
By any measure it's been a bad week for Juventus.
A 2-0 defeat at AC Milan last Saturday saw Juve end the weekend down in eighth place, ten points off the pace and out to 20/1 for a title they won nine times in a row up until three seasons back.
Three days later they were handed a chance to get back on the bike at Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League, only to lose 2-0 in Israel and now their qualification prospects are hanging by a thread.
Under-pressure coach Massimiliano Allegri has got the backing of owner Andrea Agnelli though defeat at their former home, the Stadio Olimpico, against city rivals Torino might change the mood music.
Juve, a 29/20 shot, have not won any of their last eight away matches though will be buoyed by the fact that Torino are without a win in four, three losses followed by a 1-1 draw against Empoli.
Torino are the lowest scorers in the top half, Juve (themselves struggling in front of goal) have a defensive record bettered only by Atalanta and Lazio so it's hard to see too many goals. Last season's fixture at the Stadio Olimpico ended 1-0 to Juventus which is a 6/1 correct-score bet. It's 8/13 under 2.5 goals.
What | Athletic Bilbao v Atletico Madrid, La Liga |
Where | San Mames, Bilbao |
When | 20:00, Saturday 15th October, 2022 |
How to watch | bet365 Live Stream |
Odds | Athletic Bilbao 29/20, Atletico Madrid 2/1, Draw 11/5 |
Third plays fourth in La Liga with Athletic Bilbao 29/20 to take care of 2/1 shots Atletico Madrid.
Athletic have already beaten Atletico twice in 2022, once in the Super Cup and 2-0 at San Mames in April. The earlier league meeting last season in Madrid ended 0-0.
Athletic, untroubled by European football, have been able to focus on La Liga in which they have lost just once, a surprising 1-0 home defeat by Espanyol. Since that defeat they have taken ten points out of a possible 12 culminating in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Sevilla, in which Ander Herrera was sent off so misses out.
Atletico, meanwhile, head for Bilbao three days after a soul-destroying 0-0 draw with Club Brugges in the Champions League, a result which puts a dent in their hopes of making the last 16.
What | Stuttgart v Bochum, Bundesliga |
Where | Mercedes-Benz-Arena, Stuttgart |
When | 14:30, Saturday 15th October, 2022 |
How to watch | bet365 Live Stream |
Odds | Stuttgart 13/20, Bochum 17/4, Draw 3/1 |
There are five Bundesliga matches on Saturday with Leipzig (2/5) taking on Hertha Berlin (6/1) in the evening slot.
Before that though, there is a massive showdown at the Mercedez-Benz-Arena where second-bottom Stuttgart take on the one team below them, Bochum.
Bochum are 17/4 though bear in mind they haven't actually won in Stuttgart in the league since 1987, a run of 23 matches. On the flip side, Stuttgart have won just three league games in the past ten months and almost unbelievably haven't kept a home clean sheet since April 2021!
Pellegrino Matarazzo's sacking after Sunday's 1-0 home loss to Union Berlin means his assistant Michael Wimmer takes the Stuttgart reins on Saturday and needs to figure out who replaces the suspended duo of Atakan Karazor and Serhou Guirassy.
These two are the lowest scorers in the German top-flight and it's 11/1 they conjure up a 0-0 draw.
Elsewhere, Werder Bremen would go second (for 24 hours at least) by beating Mainz and are 11/8 to pull it off.
