Premier League Bet Boosts: 13/2 & 8/1 shots carry weight on Tuesday

Boosted Bet Builders possess plenty of appeal as Chelsea play host to Bournemouth and Manchester United take on Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

We're offering Bet Boosts on Tuesday's two Premier League encounters as the English top-flight continues to dominate the festive sporting schedule.

A plethora of Premier League sides resumed their domestic schedule on Boxing Day following a six-week World Cup break, and four more clubs are set to get back down to business on Tuesday.

Graham Potter's Chelsea (1/3) kick-off the action at 17:30 as they collide with Bournemouth (15/2) at Stamford Bridge, before Manchester United (1/3), who beat Burnley in the EFL Cup last week, get their league campaign back in full swing on home soil against 15/2 shots Nottingham Forest (20:00).

As ever, we've got a vast array of markets available on both fixtures, including a selection of Bet Boosts, and we've picked one out for each game.

Backing up the Boost:

Chelsea return to top-flight action bidding to bounce back from a disastrous run of form prior to the recent Premier League hiatus.

The West Londoners were unbeaten in their nine opening games under new boss Graham Potter, but that honeymoon period was well and truly ended as the Blues succumbed to three successive defeats in November against Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle United.

The trio of defeats alone were hugely disappointing, but the fact that Chelsea, now 7/2 to secure a top four finish, fired blanks in all three encounters was arguably even more concerning - especially given the quality of attackers at Potter's disposal.

That barren run of form will surely change, sooner rather than later you'd think, and given Bournemouth's dire defensive record - conceding more than any other top-flight team this term - Wednesday's encounter provides Chelsea the perfect opportunity of bouncing back to winning ways in style.

It's quite remarkable that the home side head into this fixture winless in five in the league, with their last three-point haul on home soil coming almost three months ago, against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In Raheem Sterling, one of the club's major summer acquisitions, Potter possesses a player more than capable of taking this game by the scruff of its neck, and helping ignite life back into the Blues' stuttering campaign.

He didn't quite get the game-time he craved out in Qatar, and whilst he hasn't fully recaptured the form he displayed at Manchester City prior to switching the Etihad for the Bridge, he will be more desperate than ever to prove his worth against such a frail rearguard, having notched double figures in each of his past nine full seasons.

Bournemouth are certainly no mugs however, and come into the fixture with genuine hope of adding to Chelsea's woes, although a sickness bug could wreck havoc with new boss Gary O'Neil's tactical and personnel plans.

The Dorset side have netted in four of their last six league outings on the road, including three at both Nottingham Forest and Leeds United, and will carry expectations of at least getting themselves on the scoresheet against a Blues backline that has failed to keep a clean sheet in seven.

With neither side particularly solid at the back, it's fair to say that goals could very well be the order of the day in the capital.

Bet Builder:
Match result will be Manchester United
Bruno Fernandes to Score Anytime in the Match
Marcus Rashford to Score Anytime in the Match
Was 7/1 >> Now 8/1

Backing up the Boost:

Manchester United will hope to pick up from where they left off prior to the international break as they strive to maintain their impressive recent run of form against an ever-improving Nottingham Forest (15/2).

The Red Devils (1/3) have lost just one of their last 13 games in all competitions, and sit just three points shy of the top four, at the time of writing, having snatched the full spoils against Fulham last time out courtesy of Alejandro Garnacho's stoppage time stunner.

United have real wind behind their sails and will fancy their chances of further closing the gap, or even edging back into the Champions League positions in what is their final encounter of the calendar year.

They prevailed in the EFL Cup against Burnley last week - a game in which goals from Marcus Rashford and Christian Eriksen proved enough to see off Vincent Kompany's Championship pace-setters and secure themselves a spot in the last eight of the competition.

Rashford has been in inspired form after enduring a tough spell last season, notching 12 times for club and country, including four at the World Cup finals in Qatar, and he will be a shoe-in to start against Forest, if fit, and well-backed to maintain his impressive run of scoring form.

Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes proved a revelation for United during his first full campaign in Manchester, scoring a remarkable 30 times for both club and country throughout the season, and whilst his output hasn't been at the same heights thereafter, he still remains a pivotal part of Erik ten Hag's side.

He helped himself to four goals during his spell away with his country, two in a friendly victory over Nigeria and two more in a far more important World Cup showdown against Uruguay.

He may have only scored once in the league since August, but given the recent departure of his headline grabbing international compatriot Ronaldo, this may well now prove the ideal opportunity for Fernandes to step back out of United's former number seven's large and imposing shadow.
