Brooklyn are 10/11 to win the game with a -8 handicap in the Point Spread, while the Cavs can be backed at 3/1 in the Money Line.
Nets victory seals seventh spot
The Nets concluded the regular season with a 134-126 win over Indiana Pacers to ensure they finished in seventh place in the East to secure home advantage for the play-in tournament.
The winner of the game between the Nets and the Cavs will take the seventh seed in the East - meaning they will face Boston Celtics in the first round of the play-offs.
The loser will play the winner of the game between Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets for the eighth seed, which would mean a first-round series against top seeds Miami Heat.
The Hawks host Charlotte on Wednesday and the loser of that game will be eliminated from play-off contention.

In the Western Conference, Minnesota Timberwolves host Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday and the winner will take the seventh seed and will face Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the play-offs.
The loser will go on to play either New Orleans Pelicans or San Antonio Spurs, who meet in an elimination game on Wednesday, for the eighth seed in the West.
Suns waiting on eighth seeds
Phoenix Suns are the top seeds in the West and they await the team who claims the eighth seed in the first round.
The number eight seed games in both conferences will take place on Friday and the losers from games between Minnesota and the Clippers and the Nets and the Cavs will have home court advantage.
The play-offs are due to start on Saturday, so there is a quick turnaround for all the teams involved in the play-in tournament before their respective first-round openers.
