England will play their final warm-up match ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan on Monday as part of a packed day of sporting action.
The Rugby League World Cup continues, as France and Greece will face off in Group A at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster, while football fans can take in the League One contest between Charlton and Portsmouth.

The wait is almost over for England fans, as they will open their T20 World Cup campaign against Afghanistan in Perth on Saturday, but before that they will take on Pakistan in their final warm-up match.
England will head into that contest full of confidence following their 2-0 series victory over Australia, while they also know all about Pakistan, having won a dramatic seven-game series between the pair 4-3 at the start of this month.
Jos Buttler's side will certainly fancy their chances of winning Monday's match in Brisbane at 8/15, while a victory would also further underline their World Cup credentials - England are 13/8 to reach the final in Australia.
Of course, the World Cup has already got underway, and there are two more first-round matches to take in on Monday, with West Indies and Scotland facing off before Ireland and Zimbabwe lock horns, with both matches taking place in Hobart.
What | France v Greece |
Where | Eco-Power Stadium, Doncaster |
When | 19:30, Monday 17th October |
How to watch | BBC Red Button and iPlayer |
Odds | France 1/20, Greece 8/1 |
France lost all three of their matches at the last Rugby League World Cup in 2017, but Laurent Frayssinous will be hoping his side can deliver a victory in their Group A opener against tournament debutants Greece this time around.
With hosts England and a highly-rated Samoa also in the group, it almost feels imperative for both these sides that they make a winning start in Doncaster.
At 1/20, France are massive favourites to get over the line against 8/1 Greece, and it's easy to see why with Super League talent throughout their squad.
Greece's talent pool is not so strong, although they do boast London Broncos prop Rob Tuliatu within their ranks, as well as South Sydney Rabbitohs duo Lachlan Ilias and Peter Mamouzelos.
What | Charlton v Portsmouth |
Where | The Valley, London |
When | 20:00, Monday 17th October |
How to watch | Sky Sports Main Event and Football |
Odds | Charlton 8/5, Draw 12/5, Portsmouth 17/10 |
A run of three matches without a win has seen Portsmouth fall off the pace in the League One promotion battle, with Danny Cowley's fourth-place side sitting 12 points behind table-topping Plymouth, although they do have three games in hand on all the teams above them.
The first of those will be on Monday night when they head to The Valley to take on mid-table Charlton, who brought their own eight-game winless run in the league to an end with a 4-2 victory over Exeter last time out.
It is Charlton that have held the upper hand in recent meetings between these two sides, winning five of the last seven clashes, and the Addicks are 8/5 to claim the spoils once again, while Pompey are 17/10 to return to winning ways.
