MAD Lions has officially closed its CS:GO division and its current line-up around Thomas "TMB" Bundsbaek has been put up for transfer, the organization announced.
Heroic meanwhile are 7/4 to win the CS:GO Blast Premier Spring Showdown, with ENCE at 4/1.
The MAD Lions organization has parted ways with its current team just three months after acquiring two new players.
The Spanish based team has had a presence in CS:GO ever since the organization was formed in 2017. Local teams represented the banner at first, but the team was later acquired by OverActive Media and merged with Splyce in 2019.
MAD Lions reached outside of Iberia when they signed Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen led roster previously known as Tricked, and continued to expand with a $2 million dollar investment as one of the founding organizations of the now-defunct Flashpoint League.
The Danish roster fell apart over the course of the following year without finding much success. Following that the team went international in 2021, with a brand-new team. They had a number of different players throughout the campaign.
Things looked to have stabilized with the arrival of Michal "MICHU" Muller and Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev at the beginning of 2022, only for the players to have to start over again following the decision to leave CS:GO.
