I'm A Celebrity: England star Jill Scott favourite to be Queen of the Jungle

Jill Scott has been backed into 9/4 favouritism to be crowned Queen of the Jungle with the new series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! getting underway on Sunday night.

The Lioness, who has been shortened from 6/1, finds herself in front of 5/2 Mike Tindall and 4/1 Owen Warner.

Jill Scott has the likeability factor, she’s down to earth and punters have been very quick to latch onto that.

As well as fearlessly marching out to the skyscraper ledge in her trial, she was encouraging of Babatunde Aleshe, who became the first celeb to utter the dreaded words I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Mike Tindall has also had his supporters and we’ve already seen that he won’t be inconvenienced by any trials, immediately putting his hand up to take the first trial en-route to camp ahead of Owen and Corrie’s Sue Cleaver.

I'm A Celebrity odds

Warner has been the biggest mover in regards to odds with his price shortening from 22/1 into 13/2 after being heavily involved in the first show, with his unintentional quip revealing he didn’t know what A Place In The Sun was before tackling his own trial in much more entertaining fashion than Rugby World Cup winner Tindall.

The Hollyoaks actor must have felt a million miles from Chester during his trial, and was reminiscent of 2020 runner-up Jordan North – don’t be surprised to see him making a few trips to the Bushtucker Trial clearing over the next couple of weeks…

The celebrities on the drift after the first episode include Boy George (4/1 – 8/1), Chris Moyles (6/1 – 16/1), but they’re still a shorter price than Matt Hancock, who has drifted from 16/1 to 33/1 ahead of his late entrance.

His arrival in the jungle will be highly anticipated, but it’s fair to say there’s not much love around for Matt Hancock at this stage.
