NBA - US Sports: Green remains calm as Dubs prepare for Game 6

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green says his team have no need to "panic" despite their 134-95 humbling at the hands of Memphis Grizzlies.

The Dubs hold a 3-2 lead and can finish the second-round series in six games with a win in front of their own fans in Game 6 on Friday.  Golden State are 10/11 to win with a -8 handicap in the Point Spread and the Grizzlies can be backed at 13/4 in the Money Line.

The two teams split the first two games in Memphis but Golden State opened up a commanding 3-1 lead with back-to-back home wins.

Grizzlies coping without Morant

Grizzlies talisman Ja Morant missed Game 4 and it was announced ahead of the fifth meeting that he is likely to be unavailable for the remainder of the playoffs due to a knee injury.

The Dubs were widely expected to finish off the series in the fifth game in Memphis but instead they were thrashed by the Morant-less Grizzlies, although Green insists his team remain well placed to book a spot in the Western Conference finals.

Golden State boast strong home form

Golden State have won all five of their home playoff games this season and Green has urged his team to make the most of home advantage when Memphis arrive at the Chase Center on Friday.

"I don't think it [the Game 5 loss] is anything for us to panic about," said Green on his podcast, the 'Draymond Green Show', via Reuters.

"We understand that this is a different team [without Morant] and we have to play this team differently and we have to approach this Game Six differently.

"We're going back home, we want to get the home crowd into it. And come out and put your hard hats on. That's what we've got to do."

The winner of the series will take on either the Phoenix Suns or the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals.  The Mavs won Game 6 of their second-round series 113-86 on Thursday to force a decider, which will take place in Phoenix on Sunday.
