Draymond Green is confident Golden State Warriors will win the championship this season irrespective of what seed they end up with in the Western Conference.
Golden State can be backed at 5/1 to win the NBA Championship outright and Phoenix Suns are priced at 15/4. You can follow the action via our Sports Live Streaming platform.
The Suns, who became the first team to guarantee a playoff berth earlier this month, appear locked in for the top seed as they hold a seven-and-a-half game lead over both the Dubs and Memphis Grizzlies with just 14 games left to play.
The Warriors and Memphis, who both have 13 games remaining, are battling it out for the second seed as they are four-and-a-half games ahead of the next closest pair of challengers - Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks.
Green made a return from a lengthy absence on Monday as Golden State claimed a convincing 126-112 win over Washington Wizards.
The forward posted modest figures - with six points, seven rebounds and six assists in 20 minutes - but it was clear to see the Dubs are a far better team, particularly defensively, when he is on court.
Golden State did have a rough patch during Green's absence and a run of nine defeats in 11 games effectively ended any hopes they had of claiming the top seed.
Green admits taking the second seed would be a bonus, but he says Golden State can go all the way this year regardless of whether or not they finish second in the West.
"Obviously the two seed will be great, but we're not chasing it," Draymond told NBC Sports Bay Area. "We're going to make sure we do everything we can to stay healthy coming down the stretch, not going to make any boneheaded decisions trying to chase the two seed. Whether we're two seed or three seed, we're going to win a championship, so it don't really matter."
