It is 33 years since Napoli last won the Italian title, but Luciano Spalletti’s men could have top spot sealed in double quick time this season, with the Gli Azzurri currently 18 points clear.

A big test of their title credentials comes on Friday evening when Lazio are the visitors to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

The hosts have won their last eight Serie A matches and you have to go back to April 10, 2022 for the last time they lost on home soil.

Lazio also go into the game in good form, with the Rome giants unbeaten in their last four - with one draw and three victories - keeping clean sheets in all four matches.

Napoli, though, have conceded just one goal in their last seven games and can be backed at 13/8 to win to nil on Friday evening.

Two of the top four teams in Germany meet on Friday evening, as Borussia Dortmund play host to RB Leipzig.

The home side have won their last nine games in all competitions, a run which has helped them move level on points with Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga.

Leipzig have also got their sights set on a title challenge, with Marco Rose’s men suffering just one defeat in their last 15 league matches and coming into this game unbeaten in their last seven away games.

The visitors have had the better of recent head-to-head meetings, winning the last three including a 4-1 victory at Dortmund last season.

This is a much-improved Dortmund team though, with the best record in Europe since the turn of the year and they are 5/4 to win.

Julian Brandt is a player who has been in red-hot form, scoring four in four in the Bundesliga and the midfielder can be backed at 5/1 to score at anytime on Friday.

Real Sociedad remain third in La Liga despite winning just one of their last five league games, as they prepare to face Cadiz on Friday.

The hosts went down 1-0 at struggling Valencia last time out and their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League are hanging in the balance, although they are 1/2 to take all three points on Friday.

Sociedad’s shining star this term has been Alexander Sorloth, with the Norwegian having racked up nine goals in 19 appearances.

Sorloth scored the opening goal in this fixture last season and is 10/3 to score first on Friday.

Unbeaten in eight games since the World Cup break, Nice are up to seventh and have European qualification in their sights ahead of Friday’s clash with Auxerre.

The hosts’ recent success has been built around a solid backline, with caretaker boss Didier Digard leading them well since the departure of Lucien Favre.

Nice have kept clean sheets in six of their last seven games and a win to nil on Friday evening can be backed at 13/8.

Auxerre find themselves just outside the relegation zone on goal difference, but their recent form suggests they can stay up.
