We have reached gameweek 25 of the Premier League Fantasy Football season and there are some eye-catching fixtures to target this weekend.

With Newcastle United and Manchester United set to play at Wembley in the EFL Cup final, fantasy team managers will no doubt have to make some changes to their squads.

That clash in the capital also means that Brentford and Brighton will not play this week, but there is no need to panic.

Goalkeeper - Jordan Pickford

Since Sean Dyche took over at Everton earlier this month, the Toffees have won both of their games at Goodison Park.

They secured clean sheet victories at the expense of Arsenal and Leeds United, and in the last three gameweeks, Jordan Pickford has collected 12 points.

Everton are still vulnerable at the back, though, so Pickford should still face plenty of shots during the games against Aston Villa and Arsenal.

Pickford, unless he picks up an injury, is destined to play 180 minutes, and with Dyche at the helm, it is hard to see either Villa or Arsenal making light work of the Merseysiders.

Villa have lost their last three under Unai Emery, and a home win for Everton is available at 6/4.

Defender - Trent Alexander-Arnold

Picking a Liverpool defender has often failed to go well this season, but the Reds are one of those teams that play twice this week.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is not known for his defensive exploits, but he has racked up the points in recent weeks.

The right-back has scored 18 points in two gameweeks, with 12 of those coming against Newcastle thanks to his assist for Darwin Nunez's goal.

With Crystal Palace and Wolves coming up, Alexander-Arnold could keep two clean sheets against two goal-shy teams, while his attacking potential can never be questioned.

Liverpool are 8/11 to collect three points, while Alexander-Arnold is 3/1 to secure 0.5 assists.

Midfielder - Mohamed Salah

The second Liverpool player in our ranks is Mo Salah, who looks to have rediscovered his best form in recent weeks under Jurgen Klopp.

Salah has not been as explosive as he has in the past, but he has still scored eight goals this season.

The Egypt international has struggled to adapt to Liverpool's constantly-changing front three, but in the last three games, he has scored two goals.

Salah has scored two goals in two games against Palace at Selhurst Park, and he looks like a good bet to add to that tally at 7/5.

Those that expect Salah to punish the Eagles' defence can back him to score two or more at 15/2.

Striker - Darwin Nunez

Our third and final Liverpool pick is Darwin Nunez, who is another player that looks like he is finding his feet of late.

The summer signing has yet to live up to the hype since his move from Benfica, but the 23-year-old has shown plenty of potential since he joined the Merseyside outfit.

Nunez has scored six goals in 17 appearances in the Premier League, and like Salah, he has scored in Liverpool's last two matches.

Selecting three Liverpool players may be risky to some, but it could have a major boost to fantasy managers' league standings, especially if the Reds can pick up two convincing wins against Palace and Wolves.

Readers can back Nunez to score first and a Liverpool win at 6/1 ahead of Saturday's evening kick-off.

Striker - Erling Haaland

The only player in our five-man squad that doesn't play twice is Erling Haaland, but that should not matter.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City face strugglers Bournemouth on the south coast, and it should be a game that Haaland can excel in.

While he has not scored in his last two matches for City, Haaland still has 26 goals to his name in the league, and anyone that backs against him is very brave indeed.

Haaland is 9/4 to score two or more, while he is 2/1 to find the net first against the Cherries.
