Sydney FC boss Steve Corica says his side need to raise their game against Melbourne City after suffering a 4-0 defeat against the reigning premiers on Wednesday night.
Sydney FC are priced at 25/1 to win the A-League grand final this season but to do that they will have to get past Patrick Kisnorbo’s side once again.
Corica admits that Melbourne City do have the edge over his side at the moment and that is something they do need to improve on.
However despite a 4-0 drubbing at AAMI Park, Corica does not believe the gap between the two sides is that big.

"They've got us on the back peg at the moment," Corica told reporters after the game. "We have to sort it out but, for me, the game at home, we should have won that.
"We outplayed them. They scored last minute to get a win but that's the way it goes. It's just getting things right and we didn't do that (on Wednesday)."
The Sky Blues now face a couple of big games as they look to make the top six and play finals. First-up is a clash with the Central Coast Mariners, followed by a showdown with Adelaide United.
"We obviously need to win both games.,” Corica added. "You have to try and pick up maximum points against teams that are in and around you, especially when we've played the extra games."
