All eyes will be on Stamford Bridge as Graham Potter and his array of stars attempt to claw the club back into Champions League contention over the course of the next few months after a hugely lacklustre first half of the season.

Whilst £89m man Mykhalo Mudryk, 3/1 to score at any time, is expected to be handed his first start after impressing from the bench in the goalless draw with Liverpool last weekend, the million dollar question surrounds Argentina’s world cup winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez who could line-up in Chelsea colours for the first time since his British record £106m move on deadline day.

Those two captures topped the bill of a sensational January window which also saw the likes of Benoit Badiashile, Joao Felix and Noni Madueke arrive in SW10, and Potter will be looking for the quintet to add spark and life into his side’s stuttering campaign.

Fulham though will be out to spoil the party and end a 20-match winless run at the Bridge.

Not since 1979, in a League Division Two encounter, have Fulham prevailed in an away fixture between these two sides, but should they manage to end that run (17/4 to do so), then it would secure themselves an extremely rare and memorable top-flight double.

Goals from former Chelsea man Willian and Carlos Vinicius, either side of a Kalidou Koulibaly effort, claimed the Cottagers a 2-1 success on their own patch a couple of weeks ago; although since then there have been suggestions that their opponents may finally have started to turn the corner. 

A 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace was followed up by a creditable draw against Liverpool on Merseyside, and if they can avoid defeat against Fulham on Friday (14/5 for the draw) then it would represent the first time in almost four months that they will have gone three games unbeaten.

Marco Silva’s men meanwhile haven’t won since that home triumph in mid-January – a result that at the time extended their winning sequence to five – four of which had come in the Premier League and propelled them into the European picture.

Successive 1-0 reverses against Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have halted their rise up the league table though, whilst they were then subsequently taken to an FA Cup fourth round replay by Championship side Sunderland after being held to a 1-1 home draw.
