Bundesliga Final Day Accumulator: Dortmund to wrap up in title in style

Bayern Munich have won the last ten Bundesliga titles, but they go into the final day of the season knowing a Borussia Dortmund win at home to Mainz would confirm BVB as champions.

With that and plenty of action in both the race for Europe and the relegation fight, we have picked out a four-fold for the final day of German top-flight football which pays out at around 11/1.

Saturday's Bundesliga Acca

Our Bundesliga four-fold selections are priced at around 11/1:

Borussia Dortmund to win and both teams to score @ 21/20
Stuttgart to win @ 4/7
Union Berlin v Werder Bremen - both teams to score @ 19/20
Bayer Leverkusen to win @ 1/1

Odds were correct at time of writing and are subject to change.

Dortmund to secure title with entertaining win

OddsBorussia Dortmund 1/6, Draw 15/2, Mainz 12/1

Borussia Dortmund have been rock-solid in 2023 and now stand on the brink of their first Bundesliga title since 2012 thanks to a run of 14 wins from their last 18 matches.

While Bayern Munich have faltered, BVB deserve credit for the way that they have held their nerve in the business end of the campaign.

That includes a 3-0 victory over Augsburg last weekend when they knew Bayern had been beaten 3-1 by RB Leipzig to hand them the initiative.

Edin Terzic could not have asked for a much more palatable final game than a home clash with Mainz, who have nothing to play for and have lost their last four games on the spin.

However, both teams have scored as Dortmund have won three of their last four Bundesliga games against Mainz, so the visitors could get on the scoresheet, although they look a long shot to spoil the Black and Yellow party.

Stuttgart fancied for crucial win

OddsVfB Stuttgart 4/7, Draw 15/4, Hoffenheim 4/1

A run of two wins and a draw from their last four Bundesliga matches has given Stuttgart a real chance of staying up and they can take advantage of a Hoffenheim side who are essentially safe in their final clash.

Hoffenheim are three points clear of safety and would need to see a massive goal difference swing to drag them back into the relegation zone.

In contrast Stuttgart are level with Bochum in the drop zone and only their superior goal difference is keeping them above water.

The home side were 3-1 winners last time they hosted Hoffenheim in the league and look set to build on a 4-1 win over Mainz in their previous game out to pick up a crucial victory and secure their top-tier status.

Both teams can play part in thriller

OddsUnion Berlin 2/5, Draw 15/4, Werder Bremen 13/2

Union Berlin have been in the top four for much of the season and need to match or better Freiburg’s result in their clash with Eintracht Frankfurt to land the final Champions League spot, barring a four-goal swing on goal difference.

Werder Bremen are safe, but can play their part in an entertaining game.

Twelve of their 16 away games in the German top-flight this season have seen both teams find the net and Union have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three matches.

Back both teams to score in this one.

Leverkusen could condemn Bochum

OddsVfL Bochum 9/4, Draw 3/1, Bayer Leverkusen 1/1

Bochum face a relegation play-off with a team from the second tier as things stand, but they could be relegated automatically if results go against them.

The hosts have the worst defensive record in the league and have a bad record against their opponents here, Bayer Leverkusen.

Xabi Alonso’s men are a point clear of Wolfsburg in the final European spot so need a result and are fancied for the win.

Leverkusen have shut out Bochum in their last three meetings and can extend that good run, leaving their hosts dependent on other results going their way.
