On Monday 9th January, bet365 and Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) officially announced a multi-year agreement for online sports betting and iGaming market access in Pennsylvania, subject to necessary regulatory approvals.
In a press release published overnight, the partnership is bet365's latest expansion in the USA, following the recent launch in Ohio.
Founded by the Coates family in 2000, the fast-growing, family-owned company is licensed in over twenty jurisdictions and will continue to roll out across the U.S. in 2023. The world's favourite online sports betting brand will soon be available in Virginia, with launch expected in the coming weeks.
Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Churchill Downs Incorporated has expanded through the development of live and historical racing entertainment venues, the growth of the TwinSpires horse racing online wagering business and the operation and development of regional casino gaming properties.

“We are pleased to partner with a global leader in the online gaming industry,” said Bill Carstanjen, CEO of CDI.
“Our relationship with bet365 enables us to maximize the value of our company’s sports betting and iGaming market access in Pennsylvania.”
The announcement in Pennsylvania comes off the back of bet365's January 1st launch in Ohio. Sports fans in the Buckeye State have taken advantage of bet365's market leading product, features and sign-up-offer just in time for the drama of the NFL playoffs.
“Off the heels of our launch in Ohio, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Churchill Downs Incorporated,” a bet365 spokesperson said.
“Once live, the world’s favorite online sports betting brand will be available to sports fans in Pennsylvania, offering fantastic site features, including Bet Boosts, Same Game Parlay, Cash Out and Edit Bet, on top of our market-leading sign-up offer.”
