Rob Tebbutt casts his mind back over the past 12 months and selects his three favourite BOXXER bouts, and it includes some absolute crackers.

In third, Tyler Denny v Brad Rea…
It’s been a packed year of boxing for BOXXER on Sky Sports, but I’ve managed to whittle it down to three selections, starting with Tyler Denny successfully defending his English middleweight title with an upset win over Brad Rea. He boxed brilliantly, Tyler Denny, before being hurt by a body shot late in the fight, but he managed to hold on and secure a successful defence of his title in a brilliant fight.
Number two, Claressa Shields v Savannah Marshall…
It was billed as ‘the biggest fight in female boxing history’ between Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall, and it was won in some style by Claressa Shields, who, after a memorable ring-walk, produced a polished performance in a great fight between herself and her old amateur rival Savannah Marshall.
And in first place, the 2022 BOXXER fight of the year…
