The festive season brings with it some of the highlights of the racing calendar, including standout meetings at Kempton and Leopardstown. bet365’s Pat Cooney takes his pick of three novices to watch over the Christmas period.
First on the list is McFabulous, the Paul Nicholls-trained novice who has won two of his three starts over fences. He’s set to run in Boxing Day’s Kauto Star Novices’ Chase at Kempton, and while the eight-year-old has won over hurdles at this track before, this time he will be attempting to maintain his record over fences.
